Laser & Stock Labels
Laser printing is an
ideal printing process for pressure sensitive labels due
to its operating simplicity and cost effectiveness.
However, utilizing sub-standard label stock will cause
poor print quality and increase printer maintenance. Here at Global Venture, made from the highest quality base material, our Stock Labels gives our customers peace of mind. We offer 24-hour shipment on our comprehensive, stocking programs for thermal and laser labels. Our wide variety of thermal ribbons makes our offering complete and competitive, which will satisfy all your requirements.
Our Laser & Stock Labels have:
- High
imaging face stock allowing smudge proof printing and excellent bar code definition.
- High Opacity
- Aggressive Standard adhesives which can adhere to both recycled corrugated cardboards and poly bags
- Been Formatted to meet specific; Point of Sale, Carton Making and Shipping Label requirements detailed in the GS1 General Specifications
When you have decided what material and design you need,
just let us know what label size you need.
We have hundreds of tools on hand so it’s likely we have the size you
want or something very close. If not,
and you need something exact, we offer reasonable one-time tooling fees and can
even do prototype, die-less samples to make sure the layout will work for you. Our laser and inkjet products come both in
8.5” x 11” and 8.5” x 14” sheet sizes.
* Please Note: The choices of Laser and Inkjet label
materials are somewhat limited. There
are special reasons for this:
Laser Label Printing uses a heating process that transfers
toner to a laser sheet. Unfortunately,
it also heats up the label material and causes certain substrates to curl or
melt as they pass through the fuser process. Additionally, special thick
adhesives suitable for temperature extremes, chemicals or textured, rough or
dirty surfaces tend to ooze as they heat up and may cause jamming.
Inkjet Label Printing uses a wet ink process that requires
label materials to quickly absorb and dry the ink as it passes over the
labels. Hard synthetics such as
polyester simply do not let the ink penetrate the label surface. With a limited number of paper and
synthetics, there is a comparable limit to the choices of adhesives and until
there is more demand, raw material suppliers are not producing a wide selection
of label materials and adhesive combinations.
If you can’t find exactly what you need in laser labels, we
suggest switching to Thermal Transfer Labels.
Thermal transfer printing does not require printing temperatures as high
as laser printers and therefore there is a much wider selection of label
materials and adhesives available. This
technology uses printing ribbons that come in a wide range of formulas and
colors to match label substrates and tougher label applications. With thermal transfer labels, you can get
high quality, very durable images that hold up against not only water, but many
chemicals, UV light and other tough conditions.
We offer 24-hour shipment on our comprehensive
stocking programs for thermal and laser labels. Made from the highest quality
base material, it gives our customers peace of mind. Our wide variety of
thermal ribbons makes our offering complete and competitive, which will satisfy
all of your requirements
